On Tuesday, 16 January, and Friday, 19 January 2024, workshops on learning design and innovative pedagogies were held for teachers at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics. The workshops were held by Professor Blaženka Divjak, the iLed project leader.

The workshops are part of iLed WP4, focused on using learning design to support the implementation of innovative digital pedagogies in course restructuring, enhancement or improvement.

On the first day, a workshop was held for teachers with less experience in learning design, focused on introduction to learning design and the Balanced Learning Design Planning (BDP) tool (learning-design.eu). On the second day, the workshop was aimed at teachers already using the BDP tool in designing their courses. Upgrades to the tool, implemented based on the evaluation conducted within the iLed project, were presented, and teachers invited to redesign their courses utilizing the benefits of innovative pedagogies, using the BDP tool and the toolbox developed within the iLed project. The concept of scaffolding courses (designed in the BDP tool) in the Moodle LMS was presented, aiming to enable easier realization of the planned learning designs.
