WP2: Upgrading the LD concept & tool

The main aim of WP 2 is to support further implementation of learning outcomes (LOs) and student-centered curricula via development of innovative LO-based learning design (LD) concept and tool, available in several European languages, and their evaluation and verification in international HE contexts.

The specific objectives of WP 2:

  • SO1.1. To evaluate the piloted LD concept and tool in different contexts and by different groups of users
  • SO1.2. To improve the LD concept based on the feedback from the evaluation
  • SO1.3. To upgrade the LD tool in line with the improved concept and feedback from various user groups
  • SO1.4. To make the LD tool available in four European languages (Croatian, Finnish, English, German)
Start date: 01. 05. 2023.
End date: 31. 03. 2024.

WP3: Validating LD in authentic online and blended L&T environments, based on LOs and using LA inventory (methods & tools)

The aim of WP 3 is to co-create and orchestrate  LD implementation in authentic learning situations in virtual and blended learning environments in order to support effective learning and meaningful implementation of innovative pedagogies and tools. In order to ensure that our LD tool is fit for purpose and can be used across a range of disciplines and contexts, it is important to validate the LD in a range of different authentic online and blended environments.

The specific objectives of WP 3:

  • SO2.1. Identifying and describing authentic learning situations in virtual and blended learning environments which can benefit from innovative pedagogies enhanced by the LD concept
  • SO2.2. Engaging relevant stakeholders in the co-creation process of providing recommendations for implementing LD in authentic learning situations (different levels: course, study program; delivery mode: blended, online; student body: heterogeneous, homogenous)
  • SO2.3. Piloting the scaffolding of at in an open LMS using the LD tool and using LA to support further development of a particular LD
Start date: 01. 09. 2023.
End date: 30. 09. 2024.

WP4: Using LD to support the implementation of innovative digital pedagogies in course restructuring/enhancement/improvement

The aim of WP 4 is to innovate HE curricula through meaningful implementation of LD, enabling flexible learning pathways, and supporting modular approaches, and promoting mobility and trust in micro-credentials, using innovative digital tools and pedagogies.  The objectives in this WP contribute to continuing the design cycle in terms of involving more teachers in innovating selected curricula and empowering new competence in the use of digital pedagogies and tools.

The specific objectives of WP 4:

  • SO3.1. Empowering teachers for the use of innovative digital pedagogies and tools
  • SO3.2. Innovating selected HE curricula through meaningful implementation of LD
  • SO3.3. Fostering flexible learning pathways and (virtual) mobility by supporting modular approaches and promoting trust in micro-credentials
Start date: 01. 04. 2024.
End date: 31. 07. 2025.

WP5: Enhancing digital pedagogy competences of teachers through open educational resources

The aim of WP 5 is to create with a MOOC an educational offer for teachers, curriculum developers and decision makers to support the needed capacity building of methodological knowledge and competences of higher education institutions.

The specific objectives of WP 5:

  • SO4.1. Preparing a LD for a MOOC on implementation of innovative pedagogies supported by sound LD
  • SO4.2. Developing the content for the MOOC
  • SO4.3. MOOC delivery in blended mode and preparation for self-paced online delivery
  • SO4.4. Setting up mechanisms for issuing digital credentials for teachers completing the MOOC and measuring the development of competencies
  • SO4.5. Promoting innovative pedagogies and micro-credentials to the wider audience
