LD determines the teaching & learning activities needed for learners to achieve the intended learning outcomes, effectively supported by technology. 

Previous projects, practice & research showed a need for a concept of balanced LD that considers student-centered approaches to teaching & learning.

Thus, the iLed project aims to evaluate and upgrade, in an international context and co-creation, the piloted Balanced Learning Design Planning (BDP) concept & tool developed by FOI, focused on:

-    Learning outcomes
-    Promoting innovative digital pedagogies
-    Student workload
-    Meaningful assessment
-    Curriculum analytics
